GM Parts Direct Fails to Deliver.

Many people believe GM Parts Direct (www.gmpartsdirect.com) has the lowest prices on the Internet for Genuine GM Parts and GM Performance Parts.

The few people who actually compare prices find that not to be true. In fact, while GM Parts Direct, a wholely-owned subsidiary of Flow Chevrolet in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, has low prices on some GM parts, those "low" prices are the same as or higher than prices from other dealers—such as Tom Henry Racing—and, on top of that, GM Parts Direct inflates its shipping and handling charges such that its prices, in many cases, aren't much better than "cost-plus-20", a pricing level, which is no great deal.

We're not making this stuff up, either.
